Sukuna Bento Box (Jujutsu Kaisen)


Only the brave dare open this bento box: black garlic rice protected by a cursed "finger" — actually a hot dog wrapped in flaky croissant dough. Even Sukuna himself might want a second helping (or a new vessel).

Ingredients:


Sukuna Finger

  • 1 hot dog or 1 stick mozzarella 

  • 1 sheet puff pastry

  • 1 almond

  • 1 drop red food coloring

  • 1/8 tsp of squid ink 

  • 1 egg


Black Garlic Fried Rice

  • 1 cup of rice

  • 1 clove of black garlic

  • 1 clove of minced garlic

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce mixed with 1 tbsp of squid ink

  • Dash of salt and black pepper


Toppings

  • Enoki mushrooms

  • Minced Chives


Directions:

  1. Cut a spiral of a hotdog and mozzarella stick and put them together to fill the gaps.

  2. Wrap with a sheet of pastry sheet and use thin lines to make veins. Then add an almond at the end for the nail.

  3. Brush with red food coloring and squid ink for the grungy look and base with egg wash.

  4. Bake at 400 for 18 minutes.

  5. Heat a wok, add infused garlic oil and sauté some enoki mushrooms with sesame oil and chili oil. Set aside.

  6. Use the same wok and throw in minced garlic, black garlic, butter sauté and add day old rice. Stir fry for a minute.

  7. Add squid ink mixed with soy sauce, add chives and cook for a minute.

  8. Assemble box with rice, enoki mushroom and finger croissant in the center. Serve.
