Pokémon Onigiri (Pokémon)


Gotta eat 'em all! These adorable rice balls shaped like Pokéballs and Pikachu hide salmon and kimchi treasures inside. Perfect for trainers on the go.
Gotta eat 'em all! These adorable rice balls shaped like Pokéballs and Pikachu hide salmon and kimchi treasures inside. Perfect for trainers on the go.

Ingredients:


  • 1/2 cup Japanese Mayo

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 2 tbsp Sugar

  • 1/3 cup Unagi sauce

  • 2 tbsp Sesame Oil

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1 lb Cooked Salmon

  • Masago (orange)

  • Tobiko (red)

  • 1 dried Seaweed sheet

  • About 3 cups Short grained Rice

  • 1 cup Mozarella

  • 8 oz Kimchi 


Directions:

  1. To make sushi rice, make fresh cooked short grained rice, while cooling add sesame oil, salt, and sugar. Mix

  2. In a separate bowl, mix cooked salmon(370 15 minutes in air fryer) , Japanese Mayo, Ikura, unagi sauce.

  3. In another separate bowl, mix in chopped kimchi and shredded mozzarella, and stir fry until cheese is fully melted.

  4. Add mixture in the rice to form an onigiri triangle shape

  5. Scramble some eggs and coat the onigiri in eggs.

  6. Pan fry both sides for a minute or so.

  7. Brush onigiri with sesame oil and stick desired cut shaped seaweed and tobiko as blushes for pikachu

  8. And for the poke ball use red Masago for the top half of a ball of onigiri. Serve with garnish
