King’s Stew instapot Style (Final Fantasy XV)


A royal feast made in a humble Instapot. This thick, hearty stew would make Ignis proud — especially since it doesn’t require camping gear or chocobos.
A royal feast made in a humble Instapot. This thick, hearty stew would make Ignis proud — especially since it doesn’t require camping gear or chocobos.

Ingredients:


  • 1.5 lbs Beef Sirloin or short rib (behomoth tenderloin)

  • Salt and pepper

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

  • Thinly sliced white part of green onion (garnish)

  • A sprig of thyme and rosemary

  • Blanched Spinach (garnish)

  • 3 cup beef bone broth (Kujata Marrow)

  • 3 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1 cubed chicken breast (Griffon Breast)

  • 1 cup red wine

  • 1/2 cup minced celery

  • 1/2 cup minced carrots

  • 6 cloves minced garlic

  • 1 whole minced onion


Directions:

  1. Sprinkle salt and pepper on beef and sear all sides.

  2. Remove beef and pan fry minced onions, garlic, celery, carrots, and chicken cubes for a few minutes.

  3. Add Beef, beef bone broth, red wine, tomato paste, rosemary and thyme.

  4. Seal instant and set high pressure to 50 minutes.

  5. While it is cooking. Boil and salt spinach and blanch it in cold iced water. Drain and set aside.

  6. After cooking, remove beef and strain liquid. 

  7. Place liquid back to post and add cornstarch until thicken.

  8. Plate and garnish with sliced white part of the green onion and blanched spinach.
