KARAAGE (AIR FRY)

The classic Japanese fried chicken… but make it ✨healthy-ish✨! This air-fried karaage gives you all the juicy, crispy magic without the guilt trip. Originating from Japan’s love for perfectly seasoned fried goodness, karaage has been the life of every bento box party since the 1920s!
Ingredients:
● 3/4 cup potato starch
● Enough vegetable oil for frying
● 1 tbsp ginger juice
● 1 tsp sesame oil
● 2 tbsp sake
● 3 tbsp soy sauce
● 1/2 tsp sugar
● 1 1/2 lbs Chicken thighs skin on
Directions:
1. Debone and cut chicken thighs bite size with skin on.
2. In a large bowl, combine chicken, ginger juice, sesame oil, sake, soy sauce and sugar
3. After marinade for at least a day, coat with potato starch.
4. If Air Fry 380 for 15 minutes
5. If Deep Fry, 350 for 4-5 minutes
6. Serve with lemon or sriracha mayo
